YOUNG BIRD INVITATIONAL AUCTION RACE
(BIRDS IN THESE RACES ARE FLOWN BY HANDLERS THAT ARE WITHIN THE CLUB BONDARIES OF HAY, FMT, WSJ and SFR)
Race Days: Sept 11th and Oct. 2nd, 2010
Race Station: Middlegate, Nevada (250 Miles)
Auction date: Saturday, March, 27, 2010
Bird Entry: 10:00 AM, Guest Speakers, Carl/Tim Perry: 11:00 AM, Spring Bash Lunch: 12:00 PM
Auction starts at 1:00 PM
Place: Hayward Homing Club House, 1637 C St., Hayward, CA 94541
Race and Auction Rules:
· Each Auction Bird’s average speed will be computed for both races. Places will be determined accordingly.
· A Calcutta and loft auction will be held the day before the first race, Friday at 8PM in the Hayward Club House.
· All birds entered must be flown in lofts that are located within the boundaries of the four mentioned clubs.
· Breeders may be located anywhere Breeders may enter as many birds as they wish.
· Special case bird entry after the above auction date is open for 4 weeks with approval of the race committee.
· Eligible birds must be banded with seamless 2010 AU or IF bands.
· All youngsters placed in the auction MUST BE WEANING AGE (fully “covered” under the wing)
AND HAVE NOT MOLTED OR LOST FLIGHTS.
· All birds should be in the exhibit cages no later than 11AM on the day of the auction.
· All birds place in exhibit cages must be in good visible health and hygiene. Any bird deemed too old or too young will not be allowed in the auction.
· No birds may be removed from auction after it has been entered.
· All birds are property of the buyer. Bird or birds not claimed by the buyer within two weeks after the last race become property of the flyer.
· Birds will be shipped from the Flyers clubhouse.
· Clocks will be set and read at the Flyers clubhouse.
· Auction birds will be released with the combine race birds.
· The race committee of Hayward Homing RPC will settle all disputes.
· All prize winners will be tossed at the auction committee’s discretion.
· No re-banding of birds will be allowed.
· No switching of handler will be allowed after the auction date.
· Hayward Homing RPC race rules prevail.
Financial Information:
· Breeder has a $100.00 buy-back option. If breeder enters10 birds or more, then breeder has a $50.00 buy-back option. This money must be paid before the auction unless there is a special case as stipulated above.
· At the auction the breeder will guarantee a $50.00 opening bid. A minimum payment of 20% is required at the time of the Auction. Any balance owed must be paid by June 12th, 2010.
· If full payment is not received by June 12th then the money already paid will be forfeited and their bird or birds will be auctioned at the Calcutta. A 10% penalty will be charged for every month late after June 12th, 2010. The buyer will pay the additional late penalty.
· Pay out: Buyer 50%, Flyer 30%, and the Breeder 20%.
· Hayward Homing RPC retains 15% of the money collected.
· Make check payable to Hayward Homing RPC.
