2012 Northern California Classic

               400 mile Youngbird Race

Race will be flown on October 13,2012

or one week after the last BCC race

    Shipping date: October 11,2012 @ MTZ club house                                      

SPONSORED BY THE MARTINEZ HOMING PIGEON CLUB , TO BE FLOWN FROM ELY NEVADA ,

TO BE SHIPPED ON THURSDAY 10-11-12

ONE WEEK AFTER THE LAST B.C.COMBINE RACE .

               $15,000 FIRST PLACE PRIZE

               (BASED ON 1000 PAID ENTRIES)

         ENTRY FEE: $150 per bird or 3 primaries and 2 backups for $400

please read the complete race rules below:

1.Payment must accompany birds  when shipped.

2.All birds must be shipped in APPROVED shipping boxes.

3.Birds will be accepted from February 1^st through July 1^st 2012.

4.Replacement birds must be received by July 1^st 2012

5.Backup birds can not be used as replacements .

6.Breeders can activate Backup birds 2 weeks prior to the race for $150 ea.

                 (It is not compulsory to activate Backup birds)

7.This years Race is open to all members of the Bay Cities Combine.

8.All Handlers must be on this years Handlers list by February 1^st 2012

9.Breeders can not place more than 5 birds in one loft address.

10.Only 1 Handler per loft location with a limit of 100 birds.

     Partnerships are allowed , but they are allowed a total of 100 birds.

11.No Handler‘s can handle their own birds.

12.All birds become the property of the Handler , unless other arrangements are made  with the Breeder.

13.Any entries or replacements received on or after May 1^st 2012 must be approved by one of the Race committee and can not have dropped more than one flight feather.

 

14.Capital prize will be split 70% Breeder 30% Handler.

15.The Host club will take 15% for expenses.

16.The race committee will handle all disputes , and their decision is final.

17.All handlers , handling 20 birds will get 1 free training basket on MTZ truck.
